Delivery Snapshots
Why This Matters for Social Value Bids
This is not theoretical social value. It is delivery that can be evidenced, measured, and aligned to real community need.

It shows commissioners exactly how commitments translate into outcomes, not just statements.

By embedding LSIP and IS8 sector priorities into project design, AW Social Value Consultancy helps clients:

-
Evidence alignment with national and local skills strategies
-
Show tangible investment in inclusive employment pathways
-
Deliver outcomes that meet public sector social value criteria
-
Strengthen bid scoring through real‑world impact and lived experience

Lived Experience in Action
Working alongside the Department for Work and Pensions, our local Council, DFN Project Search, and other charities, we supported young adults with lived experience of barriers to employment helping them access opportunities, training, and meaningful work placements.
Our consultancy introduced:

-
Social stories and easy‑read guidance to make processes accessible
-
Mentoring and coaching frameworks to build confidence
-
Employer toolkits to improve understanding of hidden disabilities

These initiatives demonstrate measurable outcomes under the Social Value Model’s themes of Tackling Economic Inequality and Improving Health and Wellbeing.
Neurodiversity and Disabilities in Business
As part of AFC Bournemouth's new season theme of 'Disability', we designed and delivered a Neurodiversity and Disabilities in Business event that helped employers understand how inclusive recruitment drives productivity and retention.
Through lived experience panels, networking, and local provider stands, businesses learned how to:

-
Review their recruitment processes for accessibility and fairness
-
Implement reasonable adjustments that remove barriers
-
Create quiet zones and sensory‑friendly spaces in offices
-
Build confidence in supporting neurodiverse employees
This practical approach aligns with LSIP priorities around inclusive workforce development and employer engagement, strengthening any social value bid that commits to improving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
